One question I often get asked is 'I saw someone cycling the other night and they had a blinding light on the front - I thought it was a train/motorbike coming towards me. How much is one of those lights?'
Obviously I don't know what light it was, but I can hazard a guess it would be something like these:
- BBB BLS63, 3 Watt CREE LED, rechargeable, long run time makes it a great commuting light or for your first forest night rides, RRP £109.99. Details HERE.
- The Cateye EL-530, at £54.99, is a perennial favourite with commuters. Details HERE.
- Other Cateye & Lupine lights can be found HERE, with the Cateye Nano Shot RC and Lupine Piko being two popular models.
- Electron do some great value lights HERE, starting at £64.99.
- Probably the most popular off-road lights are the ones made by Exposure in West Sussex. HERE. The Joystick at £165 and the MaXx-D at £325 are probably the two most popular models, putting out 325 and 1285 lumens respectively.
- Hope lights with prices from £90 can be found HERE.
- Light & Motion lights, with prices from £99.99 can be found HERE.
